Adelaide Zoo, Australia’s second-oldest zoo, is located in a lush nature on the banks of the Torrens River. This pleasant place is home to a total of 250 species and nearly 2500 animals, 300 of which are native and exotic. Pandas named Wang-Wang and Funi, sent by the Chinese Government for 10 years to draw attention to the endangered species, are among the most popular members of the zoo. Wang-Wang and Funi, who prefer to sleep most of the day, have been living in the special section reserved for them since 2009.
