Adelaide Zoo, Australia’s second-oldest zoo, is located in a lush nature on the banks of the Torrens River. This pleasant place is home to a total of 250 species and nearly 2500 animals, 300 of which are native and exotic. It is a perfect place to see the natural life diversity of the Australian continent and the creatures unique to the continent.

Adelaide Zoo, which opened in 1883, is a must-see with sections in Asia, Africa, Australia, South America, Monkey House, Bird Habitat, and Children’s Zoo, although it’s a little bit smaller when compared to other zoos in Australia.

Pandas named Wang-Wang and Funi, sent by the Chinese Government for 10 years to draw attention to the endangered species, are among the most popular members of the zoo. Wang-Wang and Funi, who prefer to sleep most of the day, have been living in the special section reserved for them since 2009.

Visitors from all over the country flock to the garden to see the pandas, which are among the most famous giant pandas in the world. This is the only place in the Southern Hemisphere that those who want to see a Panda have to stop by.
