The Vienna Opera House, which has a worldwide reputation, has a capacity of 509 standing audiences with 1709 seats. In addition to opera performances, ballet performances and concerts are exhibited in the building, however, concert tickets are extremely expensive. Vienna Opera House, which is also used for touristic trips, opens its doors to visitors every day of the week between 09:00 and 17:00 except Sundays. There are many daily visits to the Vienna Opera House, which provides touristic services other than concerts.

This building, which is one of the important centers of the city of Vienna, reveals the historical and modern texture of the city. The visit fee is 10 Euros. 1-hour tours of the Opera House are also included in this price. Guidance service is provided in 5 different languages on the building tour. Unfortunately, there is no Turkish guide service.

The building was opened in 1869 by Empress Elizabeth and Emperor Franz Joseph. The architects of the building are Eduard von der Null and August von Sicardsburg. The building was severely damaged by a bomb dropped during the Second World War. It is known that the reconstruction of the building took 10 years.

The Vienna Opera House is a unique art sanctuary where the works of world-famous opera singers, such as Mozart and Beethoven, who have written their names in gold letters, are also played. The Vienna Opera House, where the world’s most important concerts are held, is one of the most preferred concert venues for the world’s richest people.
