There are certain truths we as humans have ingrained within us. It’s like they were chiselled into our collective subconscious by the forces that be at the dawn of all knowledge and human awareness. Before intelligence happened and messed it all up. You know certain things to be true. You know it. You just won’t accept it you stupid stupid enlightened soul.
- Discrimination is a fact of life. You cannot look shit ugly and expect people to look beyond your beauty... or rather lack of it. It’s not right but it’s a fact.
- You are nobody. A bit of perspective will tell you that the total number of rats asses given about you in the whole world would come to nil. And this is a world full of people ready to give rats asses.
- Nobody has ever listened to you. All that shit you have been spewing forth that seems so important has been just that for the rest of the world – shit.
- There is no love without either hate, anger, jealousy or regret. Your divine love will come crashing down one day. You are just too self possessed to realize you need to prepare for it and move beyond.
- The world is not a beautiful place. It is cruel, ugly, and unfair and will take every opportunity to kick you where it hurts best. If you accept that you really won’t be shocked by anything any more.
- ANYTHING can happen. Be it positive or negative, anything is possible. Go cry or go dream.
- There is always a tomorrow. There is always moving on. There is always something beyond the darkest night.
- Things won’t work out as you want them to. You will be a winner and still fail. There is always a bigger pond out there. And them other fishes be bloody gigantic.
- There is no one true solution. Solutions may come in twisted ways. Shutting your mind to the rest of the world focusing on the one true winner is plain stupid.
- There will always be something to fear. Paranoia is the foundation of humankind.
- It’s a very long life. You will have time to regret everything you do.
- There is no destination, only a long journey.
- There is no sweeter pleasure than having your heart broken.
This might be the most depressing thing you ever read. But if you have ever found yourself truly accepting any of it, the sun may not shine through, but the clouds may part just that little bit you need.
