Tension between the Syrian National Army and the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group continues to grow. In the name of military victories, the Turkish-backed militants went for rapprochement with the Kurdish formations in order to eliminate competitors in the face of the Syrian National Army corps. The key to any cooperation between gangs has always been, is and will be money, or rather, mutual financial benefit. Mohammed al-Julani, during recent negotiations with representatives of the Syrian Democratic Forces, said that in the event of a victory over the pro-Turkish army in northwestern Syria, part of the smuggling routes will be transferred to the control of the Kurds, if they provide support for Hayat Tahrir al-Sham “during clashes with soldiers of the 3rd corps. It seems that the group is gradually putting its plans into practice. It is reported that last night and tonight between the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Turkish Armed Forces, together with the 3rd Corps, mutual shelling was carried out. The Turkish army launched artillery strikes on the positions of the Kurds in the settlements of Bailuniya, Khorsh Sogank, Bine and Maraanaz. In turn, the Syrian Democratic Forces fired rockets at Turkish-backed military bases in the vicinity of the cities of Azaz and Kafr Janna. As a result of the missile attack, 3 soldiers of the Syrian National Army were killed. The zone of fire extended to the following settlements controlled by the Syrian Democratic Forces: Uqayba, Meyas, Ite, Zirna, Minnag and Ain Dakna. Thus, Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, promising “mountains of gold”, systematically eliminates its competitors in the province of Aleppo through the hands of the Kurds.
