Thrasio, The company was started in the year 2018. Founded by Joshua Silberstein and Carlos Cashman, Thrasio will find the hottest up-and-coming brands that sell on Amazon. The startup collaborates and acquires them. It offers upwards of $1 million. Once it acquires the brand, it upgrades its marketing, product development, and supply chain management.

It has raised more than $3.4 billion, including a $650 million debt round earlier in 2021, valued at 5–10 billion. it was crossing over $1 billion in revenue and over 200 brands in its portfolio as of December 2021. It is estimated that 1 in 6 items purchased in Amazon US might come under Thrasio consumer goods. It is a Multi brand & Multi-product platform.

“Our mission is to reimagine how the world’s most-loved products become accessible to everyone,” said Carlos Cashman, CEO, and co-founder of Thrasio.

  3. G.O.A.T Brand Labs was founded by Rishi Vasudev and Rameswar Misra and has headquarters in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
  4. 10Club was founded by Bhavna Suresh, Deepak Nair, and Joel Ayala and has headquarters in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
  5. Evenflow was founded by Pulkit Chhabra, and Utsav Agarwal and has headquarters in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
  6. Powerhouse91 was founded by Aqib Mohammed and Shashwat Diesh and has headquarters in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
  7. Upscalia was founded by Gautam Kshatriya, Saaim Khan, and Nitin Agarwal and has headquarters in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.
  8. Bzaar was founded by Nishant Verma and has headquarters in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, etc, many startups are emerging on the same model. Some of them are even started new product development. there was almost a total of 350 million raised by them.

Acquire, Operate, Grow is the main motto of all startups. Before acquiring a product/seller business, they check many things to know about the products in their category. There are many factors for companies to acquire such as Reviews, Ratings, Revenues, and brand/product founders.

Packing experience, Delivery Experience, Product Experience, Warehouse Management Experience, Customer Care Experience, etc. all are checked list and will be enhanced and improved. reaching global will be a part of it.

In near future, there will be taglines Globalbees brand, 10club brand, Powerhouse91 brand, etc. for the product catalog just like Amazon Brand while selling at Amazon, Flipkart, Shoclues, Nyka, etc.

There are more than 10 lakh sellers only on Amazon by December 2021. there will be a huge change in Indian e-commerce with this model. Let us see in the future how it impacts the consumer.
