If you are a software developer/designer and would like to explore the tools used on a daily basis, here are some that I use almost daily.

  • *Microsoft Visio/OneNote are the only paid tools in the above list

Any developer will continue to use what they like or what they are comfortable with. But you also need to explore and learn new ones in the market which can help you be productive. Many of the above tools are open source and I use them both at home and at work. There are equally capable licensed tools available in the market for the exact same purposes.

What tools do you use?

  4. Development and Testing
  5. Cloud Operations
