Why I’m interested in writing???
I enjoy writing as it doesn’t refrain my thoughts.
I need someone if I have something to say. But I don’t need much more than a pen and paper to write down my thoughts.
I love talking to people. But my introverted nature doesn’t allow me to talk freely. Let me tell you. In my school days, when a question was asked in class, I would never raise my hand, even if I knew the answer.
I was one of the toppers in my class. I knew the better answer for the question. Despite that, I had never stood and presented my answer.
Which is why I started writing. I scribbled in notebooks. I always wanted to write with pencil. I had a misconception that my handwriting would look good when I used pencil. Another reason was to use the pencil was that I could easily erase the secrets😂.
I used to write whatever I came across in my life.
When I was not in a mood to talk to any of my friends, I used to write about it.
When there was something that made me over the moon, I would write.
When there was something that made me unpleasant, I would write.
When I had disagreement with my mom over trivial matters, I would write.
Even if I didn’t feel like eating food, I would write about it.
This is how, I started my writing journey. I was hesitant to maintain a journal as somebody might get chance to read my personal. Inevitably, it happened once. I had written something about a guy who I met in college in the first year. My cousin is of my age. When she once came to my place, she read the note unexpectedly. I felt embarrassed and stopped writing from that day.
After some years, I have started writing again. Feeling ecstatic. As if I got the freedom to write about myself. I don’t care about anyone as I used to, though they get a chance to read my dairy.
I gain clarity about my life when I write about my future plans, making to-do list, everyday events, desires, friends, and other things.
There is something that I currently miss is that writing with a pencil. As I switched to the pen. Whenever I feel nostalgic for a pencil, I use that.
Rather than texting on the keypad or typing on the keyboard, I find it more thrilling when I use a pen to write on paper. Post writing, when I look at the impression on the paper, reminds me of my school days. Back then, after finishing a page of writing I used to feel the coarse on the back, whiffed the smell of paper, and the ink. It’s wonderful to see my handwriting after a long time.
Thank you for reading!!!
