Home decorating!!

Yes I love to decorate my home for the holidays and the seasons. I not only decorate outside I love to decorate inside as well.

There is something so amazing coming home and lighting candles and having a beautiful candleholder for these candles. The beautiful glow of the candles gives any room an amazing feeling.

With all of this in mind I recently started making candleholders (well, not the candleholder itself) but the decorations for the candleholder. I have seen lots of people using vinyl to decorate items but I wasn’t really wanting to do that.

So after much research and trial and error I found the art of glass etching! Glass etching is permanent and I loved that. Then came the idea of adding color…now that took more research but I love learning so why not! So I found a way to color my etching and I LOVE the finished product!

The only issue with the color is that you can’t wash it with any chemicals so soap and water it is. But that is fine with me cause seriously who likes to clean anyway..LOL!
