Jesus: Isa (A Different Perspective.)
Introduction
In Islam, Jesus, whom we Muslims call: Prophet Isa (God’s Salutations be on him) is a very highly respected Prophet, and the saying that he is God’s son is highly not acceptable. God is not like us HUMANS.. we cannot say that He is like us.
He does not have a son, wife, uncle, aunt, etc. In the Quran, there are many, many, many places where they say that this saying that Jesus (Prophet Isa — God’s Salutations be on him) is God’s son would shake the Heavens and cause the mountains to crumble. ⛰️ This is exactly what the Quran says:
Jesus is the Prophet of Allah (SBHT) Just Like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In Islam, Jesus is one of the most important Prophets. He is the Son of Mary. He was sent by the Lord of Heavens, Allah (SBHT), to guide the Children of Israel. His story and his words were highly acknowledged and highly classified as important. His birth was recognized as a miraculous birth, his ability to perform miracles, and how he ascended to Heaven were all mentioned in the Quran.
What the Quran refers to him is the “word from God”. This is deriving the origin of Jesus and it can have different meanings of ideas such as declaring the miraculous way Jesus was born and showing Jesus as a sign of God’s power.
There is Only One God — Tawhid.
In Islam, we establish the importance of Tawhid. This is the belief that there is no God but Allah and his final Prophet is Muhammad (PBUH). Allah (SBHT) is not like us, humans, he does not have a family, partners, or anything like that. Astaghfirullah (God forbid), of course, does not have a son. (Period.) The Quran explicitly mentions:
The Miracles of Jesus and the Message He Gave.
The own birth of Jesus, (Prophet Isa, God’s Salutations be on him), is itself a huge blessing. He was born without a male, which is itself a blessing in disguise. It’s a sign of God’s unlimited power. The miracles of the fact that Jesus was able to talk as an infant in a cradle, bringing the dead back to life, and curing the blind was all from Allah (SBHT) — God. Obviously, the Bible was altered by the Christians, so the truth is not written in there.
Conclusion
While us, Muslims and Christians, both believe in Jesus Christ. We do not believe that he is the son of God instead he is the servant of God just like Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
