Today during Satya Nadella’s keynote at Microsoft Build, Microsoft previewed an exciting new integration that enables users of Office Delve, which surfaces personalized content to you from across Office 365, to seamlessly view and discover data from Salesforce.

Delve is a new Office 365 experience powered by Office graph, which maps interactions and relationships between content and people in Office 365. With these new insights, Delve allows you to discover content and connections based on your activity and the activity of people you work with, such as which Office documents have been shared to you, which documents are popular in your team, etc. In the near future, with the integration of Salesforce to Office Graph, Delve will be able to surface critical line of business information from the world’s leading CRM, such as opportunities, accounts, and cases.

In the example above a user of Delve is able to see opportunity record data from Salesforce.

Salesforce is excited to be a Delve launch partner and look forward to talking more about this integration at Dreamforce ‘15. As part of our strategic partnership with Microsoft, we will be working closely with them to bring even more Salesforce capabilities into Delve and other scenarios powered by Office Graph.
