Nina the Donkey

When SFT found Nina, she was pregnant, with her other son, and was being eaten alive by two Rottweilers whilst being tethered.

While Nina was being attacked, she was with her young son, Paddy, and was pregnant with Pickle who was born in the summer of 2014 at the SFT sanctuary.

SFT had to negotiate to get Nina’s freedom. However, after we were able to rescue Nina, she spent 5 hours being stitched and almost two months of daily treatment until she was able to make a full recovery.

Now, the three donkeys, Nina, Paddy, and Pickle, live happily with the other donkeys and goats at the SFT sanctuary!
