Pakistani Dramas have made a remarkable history in the Drama industry of subcontinent. It was the classical dramas that are known as the initial field of the industry to start. With a great message to deliver and yet cause the people to get attached with and still these dramas have great inspiration among the present young generation. All this was happened through the intelligent writers and talented actors show casing what the directors really want to depict from the story.

Pakistani dramas from the start have some strong message to spread around they are dramas but they always try to deliver something useful, a message, a lesson that can cause some positive changes in one’s life.

Watch Pakistani Dramas Online

Let’s put some light on the life of Pakistani Drama Industry. The industry initially has only one channel to telecast the dramas that was PTV (Pakistan Television). Many of the master pieces were telecasted there such as ‘ankahi’, dhoop kinaray’, ‘dhuan’, ‘tanhayan’. Being an Islamic country industry always tries to focus to make the dramas environment according to the Muslim’s culture and still they succeeded in picturing the message with strong scripts. Haseena Moen, Seema Ghazal, Ashfak Ahmad are some of the names from the list of brilliant story writers. Their stories were mainly focused on the real life society matters that touch many peoples of today’s era also. Their stories are so inspirational that they not get awards nationally but they a have remarkable value at international level and that’s why they awarded at international level also.

But unfortunately this beautiful and successful period has to face something miserable and that was the time in 2001 when star plus was the main focus of the audience, people use to watch their dramas with great interest that they were even adopting things from Hindu culture. This was not only the down fall of the industry but the Islamic values were also at the danger. Kids are innocent and they adopt everything they get around them and at this time PTV was the only channel not showing their master pieces and audience get attracted towards star plus.

With the passage of time when the industry and the people related to media noticed all the situation they get over this and as a result new channels were introduced with once again motivational inspirational full of talent and reality based dramas such as Geo TV, Ary and Hum TV. One of the sample master pieces of the current time is ‘meri zaat zarraye be-nishan’ written by a talented writer Umera Ahmed which was telecasted on geo TV and ‘malaal’, ‘nur pur ki rani’, ‘nur bano’, ‘wasal’ on hum TV. Umera Ahmed has also produced some inspirational stuff like ‘Shehr-e-zaat’ which was listed under Hum TV Dramas.
This how the Drama industry evolves and as this is internet era so with the passage of time all these dramas are made available online. And that’s how Online Pakistani Dramas have caught the attention of audience throughout the world by online channels like YouTube and daily motion.
