The verses you have to know.

Which passage from the Bible should everyone read? I’d like to share my learning with you. :)

Genesis 1:1–31 God Used Words to Create All Things

Many people think that these verses are nothing special and just ignore them. I’m one of them before that I thought it just like a narrative to describe how God created this world and thus I didn’t take it seriously. However, it’s really amazing that as long as we read it carefully and attentively, we must find something which we’ve never discovered — the mystery.

Let me give an example. An intriguing question “which came first, the chicken or the egg?” It’s really confused us and many scientists or scholars were researching this question that they racked their brains to get the answer. There is no denying that no one can get the most exactly answer. But who can expect that the Genesis have told us the answer already.

“And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creeps on the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.” (Gen 1:24–25)

In the beginning, God used His word to create all kinds of animals. After His word, all of the animals appeared at the appointed time. If we read it carefully, we can see that God created the animals which included cattle, creeping thing and the beast then the earth filled with life and they started moving, but he didn’t create the egg. God gave them the instinct to multiply, so they lay the eggs and reproduce their offspring. God says, “ The authority of the Creator not only gives the vitality of life to seemingly static material objects, so that they will never disappear, but, moreover, gives the instinct to reproduce and multiply to every living being, so that they will never vanish, and so that, generation after generation, they will pass on the laws and principles of survival endowed to them by the Creator. (from A Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)

See, such a “complex” question is solved.

Besides, we can see God’s love and authority from these verses.

God’s love: God takes meticulous care of mankind that he used 6 days to create the things that is necessary for human. In the last day then created human. God says, “In the time before mankind appeared in the world, the Creator used His power and authority to create all things for mankind, and employed His unique methods to prepare a suitable living environment for mankind. All that He did was in preparation for mankind…” (from A Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)

Meanwhile, His authority was shown , “From when He commenced the creation of all things, the power of God began to be expressed, and began to be revealed, for God used words to create all things. Regardless of in what manner He created them, regardless of why He created them, all things came into being and stood fast and existed because of the words of God, and this is the unique authority of the Creator.(from A Continuation of The Word Appears in the Flesh)

That’s all I want to share from these verses. So, which passage from the Bible are the most impressive you? Hope you also can share with me. :)

Last but not least, I wanna share a hymn with you. “All Things Live in the Rules and Laws Set Down by God”.
