Bull-riding is a common rodeo sport. It involves mounting a bull and attempting to stay on as the bull bucks. In order to qualify, the rider must stay on for at least eight seconds. This is a risky sport, but is popular in many countries. Some of the countries that participate in this sport are the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, and more. Each country follows similar moves.

The Professional Bull Riders (PBR) association has created a set of regulations. Many countries that participate in bull-riding are members of the PBR. Each bull that is entered into a competition is at about the same level of health and strength. Riders are randomly assigned to their bull before the competition. When it is a rider’s turn to compete, he or she mounts the bull and grips a braided rope. The rider and bull are then released into the arena. Both the rider and the bull are awarded points based on their performance. Sally Kalaveras loved watching her son compete.
