His Quest, Her Journey: A Muslim Love Story

Abdulrahman had finally found her. After many concerned queries from family about his never changing single status, blind dates set up by well-meaning friends and quick meet ups with matches from dating sites, he has his rose. His WIFE. His. The yells of celebration from his mother still sang in his ears. His wife would be here tomorrow, and he would get to spend his first night in Halal bliss with her.

He took a moment to raise his palms to the sky and thank Allah again.

“Alhamdulillah.” His prayers had been answered. When he incorporated prayers back into his life, he knew his life would improve and he asked Allah to open the path to his next chapter. He felt he had an ally watching his back and now after months of intensive prayer, he was one short night away from the start of his new life.

On the eve of his last night of bachelorhood, Abdul mused about the previous year and the journey that got him to this place. Oddly, the face of the last woman he met before meeting his blushing bride flashed in his mind.
