United States and Ebola
As of 9/25/14, there have been almost 6,000 cases, and over 3,000 deaths four countries. Liberia has had the most cases and deaths. President Barack Obama decided that we, as a country, will build some treatment centers in those countries. We’re hoping to contain the disease so that it doesn't spread to other places. In the United States however, there was a diagnosis on someone, and it showed that he had Ebola. That man is being treated in an isolation room. Doctors say that the deadly disease will be contained, and that it wouldn't spread throughout the country.
Personally, I think that the Ebola patient in our country is going to be treated and cured because of how much more medical advances we have in our country, as opposed to Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone. There were two people who contracted Ebola and were sent back to the United States to be treated. Those two people were cured, and were sent on their way. This whole thing will blow over our heads, but will still be hitting the African countries.
