How To Use Your Real Estate Business To Inspire
Hi, I’m Sam Applegrad, founder of YMY Acquisitions. In my company, we don’t only strive to be a company that is not only successful in the business world, we also try to put in commensurate commitment and effort in giving back to the community. After all, a real estate business is all about community; our growth is largely dependent on the success of our valued tenants and partners.
One of the ways in which we make a difference is through partnerships with organizations that provide housing and support to vulnerable populations. For example, YMY Acquisitions works closely with The Fortune Society to offer affordable housing to previously incarcerated individuals as they transition back into society. This not only helps to reduce recidivism, but also provides a much-needed service to a group of people who often struggle to find housing after being released from prison.
In addition to working with The Fortune Society, YMY Acquisitions also partnered with the Odyssey House to provide housing and support to individuals who are rebuilding their lives after drug and alcohol abuse. This is a particularly important issue, as substance abuse can often lead to homelessness and other challenges. By providing a safe and supportive living environment, YMY Acquisitions is able to help these individuals get back on their feet and reclaim their lives.
But the caring and giving culture in YMY Acquisitions extends beyond just these partnerships. In one occasion, I was given the opportunity to take in a victim of abuse and provided them with affordable housing. More than being recognized for this act of compassion and generosity, I am deeply grateful for this chance to save a life.
As a new year unfolds on us, I, Sam Applegrad and YMY Acquisitions remain deeply committed not only to be successful in their business endeavors, but also to giving back to the community and helping those in need. We hope that you find our work to be admirable and that it serves as an inspiration to us all.
