Caffeine: The Wonder Drug

Caffeine’s caloric content is fairly low, but when consumed it results in a rush of energy that allows us to get those early mornings going and push through those long afternoons.

So what is that rush of energy and where does it come from?

Caffeine’s action occurs, largely, in the brain. It works by inhibiting the binding of the adenosine receptors in your brain!
