The Democratic Party needs to stop fear mongering on process to achieve it’s policy goals. EVERY serious academic analysis of the Article V process has concluded that it is safe and should be used when appropriate. The Wisconsin politician quoted above was not talking about the fear of a convention running away, but the implications of the balanced budget as a policy on entitlement programs. If you don’t like that policy, vote against that policy and argue about the policy.

This article, which says nothing about the policies it seeks to stop, is the equivalent of saying “Republicans are changing policy by voting, we need to end elections.”

If you don’t like the Republican policies, don’t end the democratic process, convince the public and win elections. And if you can’t because of the corrupting influence of money in politics, join us at http://www.wolf-pac.com and use the Convention process to resolve that problem.
