The Poker Club
The “IOTA Pokerclub” operates as a group of interest, based in Germany, exclusively on the platform Pokerstars. The terms & conditions apply without exception, both for the club manager and for the members. To join the club, follow the instructions below:

- Create your personal account
- Click on the “Home Games” tab, then “Join a Club”
- Submit a membership request by filling out the form:

Your Name: Pls insert your Twitter, Soonaverse, or Discord name - The Home Games menu changed its look during the writing of the blog post. If you see the old version, no problem. The process stays the same!

3D animated NFTs and their benefits
We are extremely proud and happy to present to you our limited OG collection of 3D animated Poker Chips, which come in beautiful rich colors and a magical aura that won’t let you go once they caught your eye!
Inspired by well-known elements from the Game of Poker and IOTA, a unique NFT has been created, which not only provides the owner with calmness, strength & luck for the upcoming tournaments but also with all kinds of benefits.

As the “IOTA Pokerclub” is meant to be a long-term project, that grows and evolves, there certainly will be more benefits our OG NFT owner can enjoy!
IMPORTANT
Pokerstars has clear “Home Games Terms & Conditions”, the “IOTA Pokerclub” and all its members must agree to comply with. Particularly noteworthy for the club is section 7.
We contacted Pokerstars Support to define the limits of what is feasible. This is the result:
- The NFT sale and all benefits (listed above) associated with owning an NFT are not in any kind related to Pokerstars, the Home Games, or the results from Tournaments & Cash Games within the Home Games.
- It is NOT a requirement to own an NFT to join the “IOTA Pokerclub” on Pokerstars or to play Tournaments and Cash Games inside the Pokerstar’s Home Games (That was never planned anyway). Neither the club manager nor the club members generate any financial benefit or other pecuniary advantages from the Home Games if they own an “IOTA Pokerclub” NFT.
- A Platinum “Season winner NFT” or any other prizes (cash or materialistic kind) based on tournament results within the Home Games could be interpreted as a “financial gain” or “pecuniary advantage”. Therefore, the winner of a season held on Pokerstars will not receive any additional winnings from the “IOTA Pokerclub” (Only regular winnings from the tournament itself)
→ Even if the rules are followed by all parties, Pokerstars reserves the right to close the club on their platform if they believe that its terms & conditions are being violated.
Note: Should this unlikely event occur, it does not mean the end of the “IOTA Pokerclub” and does not mean the forfeiture of benefits by owning one of our NFTs! The club operates as a platform-independent entity and has plenty of alternative options to follow its passion!
Color & Rarity
The collection comes in 8 different colors, each limited to a small number of pieces. There will NEVER be more than 200 OG “IOTA Pokerclub” Poker chips, except the Platinum chip which serves as a special trophy ;)

The Platinum #1 Poker Chip, as stated above, was meant to serve as a trophy for season winners inside Pokerstar’s Home Games, but this idea had to be canceled! Nevertheless, we think that this trophy is too beautiful to be deleted completely. That’s why we will make it available in another way that is completely independent of Pokerstars and its Home Games.

Tournaments

- Frequency/Duration: Weekly/One Quarter
- Rules: BuyIn, Payout, Starting Time, etc. can be subject to voting in the future, as soon as the Token Launchpad is integrated on Soonaverse and all functionalities are enabled. Until then, the tournament rules are at the discretion of the Club Manager and can be discussed on Discord.
Cash Games
To bridge the time between the tournaments and to keep the community active, there will be continuous Cash Game tables where you can play around the clock. As you can see in the screenshot below, the cash game tables differ in the stakes level. The buy-in for a seat at the cash game table is 40–100BB (Big Blinds). The cash game tables will be closed by Pokerstars within 12 hours of inactivity for security reasons. If necessary, simply make a short request on Twitter or Discord and a new table will be opened.
The team behind the “IOTA Pokerclub”
The founder
I have been an IOTA supporter since 2017 (back then known as “IOTA Studios”) and to this day I still do it with full conviction! Due to my last job I, unfortunately, had hardly any time to keep in close contact with the IOTA Community over the past 2 years or to play poker, but that has changed now for the better.
Poker has always been my passion, whether in casinos, with friends at home, or mainly online with people from all over the world. I see the club as a great opportunity to gather people with the same passion in one place and a good way to pass the time until the next milestones of IOTA’s technology are reached. We all know, what a “soon” can be in terms of time! So let’s pass the time with exciting poker games ;)

I will be supported by two friends of mine (silent IOTA supporters / Admins Pokerstars), but I am always looking for trustworthy and well-known community members who also have a passion for the game and would like to be a mod on Discord and help the community with any issue.
