Documentary Wedding Photography At The Taj Mahal Hotel & The Trident, Mumbai
Karishma & Trilok’s destination wedding in Mumbai pushed the boundaries of real Indian weddings. Not a dull moment in the wedding photography we did here!
We met Karishma and Loki for the first time in December last year. We were photographing Krishna & Om’s cocktail party at the Turf Club, when Ekta came to me and said “Oh my God, there is this girl in this party, who has the most beautiful eyes I’ve seen”. An opinion I completely agreed with, when I saw her too.
A few months later, we were sitting across Karishma and Loki in our consultation session, planning the photography & cinematic coverage for their amazing wedding.
K&T kicked their celebrations off with an amazing neon-themed party hosted by Loki’s sister & brother-in-law, where friends came in from across countries to party the night away. Their mehendi celebration was held at the Taj Mahal hotel overlooking the Gateway of India. Karishma & Loki’s friends and families put up some phenomenal dance performances, as Loki’s friends — Gautam, Om, Sumeet, Dhanraj & Jai — made surprise speeches that brought the house down.
Karishma & Loki tied the knot and took their lifetime vows the next day in the skies of Mumbai overlooking the Queen’s Necklace — they got married at the Trident Rooftop. It was a lovely, intimate wedding, with it’s share of good laughter and cheer peppered throughout the pheras ceremony.
Their wedding celebration concluded with the epic cocktail night held again, at the Taj Mahal Hotel. ‘LOVE’ written in big bright bulbs adjoining the dance floor was a fitting callout to what we saw and experienced in this wedding. There was so much love between the couple, across families that came from across the world, as well as friends — it bound them all in this amazing celebration.

Our last wedding ‘season’ concluded with your wedding, and we are so glad to have been a part of one where we received so much love from you guys and your families — and continue to receive it even now, with surprise messages of appreciation coming in. A huge shoutout to Krishna & Om, whom it all began with; and Aashni & Gautam — you guys really mean a lot to us.
