Format: Song Lyric

Audience: The general public

Purpose: To sing a song about his mom having cancer and what his childhood was like when she had it

Analysis: This song is by far my favorite song because the song really shows how the singer is feeling. He expresses his emotions through the lyrics through out the whole song. For example, in the song he wrote, “She thinks happiness is just a mat that sits on her doorstep” shows the deep struggle his mom had about not being able to leave the house or having true happiness with the cancer. I think the song defintley achielves it’s purpose because he shows the reality and ugly truth of how not only he is feeling, but of how his mom is feeling.

Audience: The general public

Purpose: To pick someone up

Analysis: This twitter post shows the authors desire to pick up someone in a smart and witty way. By using chemistry terms and vocabulary not only is the person being picked up impressed by their knowlege, the person is impressed with the bold decision to pick them up. I think this post achieves it’s purpose because if someone tried to pickup me up with a witty pickup line like so, i would for sure say yes.
