I was taken aback by the crisp, clear internal speaker sound, and it also functions as a MIDI controller for all the cool music software I’ve got on my computer. It’s got two pedals for that kick drum and hi-hat experience and even comes with a built-in metronome and reverb effect.

One thing I wish it had though was a stand — the one I used to have is no longer available, and it would have been nice to have that with it. The only other tiny frustration I had was when I tried to record directly from it through 1/4 inch output, the ride cymbal sounded a bit electronic and distorted. But, when I recorded using my computer, those issues didn’t arise.
