Hi. My name is Samantha Steiner, and I have a few things to get off of my chest. Are you ready? Consider yourselves warned! Buckle up, because it’s about to get bumpy! Hold on tight! Ok, first thing’s first, it should just go without saying, special people come into your life for a reason, and have a way of staying there for a really long time. Oh yeah, and here’s another thing, I’m also a huge believer in life’s biggest events and accomplishments, as they most likely happen for a reason, even if they don’t necessarily work out in the long run. For example, when emotions get the best of a particular individual, he or she is not able to be there for him or herself, especially when tough times stick around a lot longer than originally expected. I should know, because I for one, am one of those people. Admittedly, I’ve had a rough go of it, especially when I don’t put my best foot forward, both in my personality and in my confidence level. In fact, thus far, I’ve tended to classify myself as an introvert, rather than an extrovert, despite being outgoing, thanks to a lot of my personal issues and insecurities taking over, and for absolutely no good reason at all. Since then, I have found my niche. Unfortunately, it’s a fact, how disappointment and failure, can completely change one’s perspective and outlook on a daily, and perhaps, even a weekly or monthly basis. However, recently, I have found what is of the upmost importance, and what really matters the most. It’s what is on the inside, vs. what’s on the outside. And, also, it’s how you look at yourself, how you impact others, and what your version of success is. Am I right? That’s where the power of celebrities can be used for the ultimate good, and motivation and inspiration, no matter who you are, where you are, and what your biggest dreams may be! Talk about a powerful and empowering platform! Case in point, Zachary Levi and his charities, NerdHQ and Operation Smile, Chuck Wicks and his charity, City of Hope, Lance Bass and his charities, GLAAD, and The Trevor Project, Joey Fatone and his charity, The Fatone Family Foundation, JC Chasez and his charity, Save the Music Foundation, Derek Hough and his charities, CharityBuzz, and SU2C, Ace Young and his charities, including The USO, The Starkey Hearing Foundation, and MDA, Matthew Morrison and his charities, including Unicef and the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and even Justin Timberlake himself, with his charity, Shriners Hospital for Children, allowing their biggest fans to interact directly with them personally, and all for a great cause. Can you believe it? On top of that, thanks to today’s incredibly invasive society, and social media, the deal is sweetened just a little bit more, thanks to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. And if that’s not enough for you, as cliché as it might sound, the connection of one song, whether it be on broadway, or through their latest singles on the radio, and with the promotion of their records, that in itself, is bound to affect fans everywhere, myself included, of course. While I still have you captivated, the second that “Not A Bad Thing” comes on the radio, an incredibly warm and fuzzy feeling comes over me. I know, that may seem like a shocker for most of you to hear, but honestly, I can’t help myself. That’s just the “fangirl” in me. And no, I am not apologizing for it, nor would I change it for the world. I mean, who can blame a girl? And just for the record, doesn’t the idea of a romantic and sweet serenade sound tempting right now? Here’s to falling in love, one guy at a time. Yes, please! Where do I sign up? Like chivalry, happiness, gratitude, and giving back, is never dead, nor overrated! And always remember, never, ever give up, no matter what! Need I say more?
