“The Bachelor” Overnight Dates Recap…

So, let me get this straight, while I’m all cuddled up nice and warm, in fuzzy fleece blankets here in Baltimore, (while it should feel like spring outside, instead of winter) Juan Pablo, Andi, Claire, and Nikki, travel to the gorgeous Caribbean island of St. Lucia for their overnight dates, and may also be falling in love in paradise? Can I please chime in and just say what the rest of the world may be thinking, as we collectively participate in a much overdue sigh and eye roll?

While most of us clearly wish that were us in that situation, the drama involved, the dates, the exotic locations, the rose ceremonies, and the cameras are indeed a bit much, let alone in having that extra, additional factor, of a young, 10-year-old daughter, back at home in Miami. Though the romance may be real, the process itself is still unexpected, as strong feelings and emotions are in play, while some relationships are certainly progressing a lot more than others.

In fact, this entire season, viewers, including myself, (better known as “Bachelor Nation”) have watched Juan Pablo meet 27 gorgeous girls, now down to the remaining three bachelorettes, who he is just beginning to see a future with, thanks to some much needed quality time spent together in the fantasy suite overnights, and on the romantic one-on-one dates. Now of course, let’s not also forget the hometown dates, as Juan Pablo went home to meet each of his suitors’ parents. Need I remind anyone of that epic, Ben Stiller classic?

While Juan Pablo let Renee go, it was time to focus on the girls who he had stronger connections with, and truer feelings for, yet, only to realize the bigger battle that would be soon awaiting him.

Cue Andi! You’ve heard the term, “trouble in paradise.” Well, Tuesday night’s episode, without a doubt, took the cake! And I think it’s safe to say, that we were all left dumbfounded!

The confusion though doesn’t stop there, as the hard hitting questions come for Juan Pablo, while he attempts to confront the heartbroken bachelorettes, in next week’s “Women Tell All” episode.

And in just two weeks time, Galavis will either have a fiancée, or he won’t.

Stay tuned for the dramatic two-part conclusion of “The Bachelor.
