You’ve seen the horror movie.

There’s a loud sound.

The music starts playing.

(RUN WOMAN RUN!)

But, no she goes to check it out.

And, she’s dead.

Curiosity killed her.

This is so much so the case in our current times of retreating back to ourselves. We don’t look to ask the questions of why, how or what and we take things for what they are. There’s no reasoning, understanding or painting of a bigger picture.

We look stay on the path that we know with the hopes and belief that it is going to get us to our end destination. We don’t seek to rock the boat or question things. Not to be rebellious but to spurn a new idea or innovation. We accept things and move on. We carry on.

Education is killing curiosity. Grades are handed out like sweets in a newsagents and ultimately students are just wanting everything on a plate.

But, it is the curious who push the boundaries. Those are the ones who seek new ways and ideas. The curious are the ones who lead.

The sheep are herded later.

To those graduating. Those still in education. And, to those who are wanting more.

Ask questions.

And then ask a few more.
