It’s Not About Race!
John Metta

To say that ‘The white man’ asked you to talk about race on a white mans terms because he wanted to ‘converse above emotion’ and ‘get to the heart of the matter’ is him being racist is probably the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard.

It has nothing to do with race. He is simply asking for a conversation in which the point doesn’t get lost through emotion, and maybe the conversation would come to a point where the group could come up with some ideas to battle racism in their communities, for example.

I’m not for one second saying that racism doesn’t exist on a horrendous level, now and through history, and that black people shouldn’t be angry, but if the everyone in the world expressed their emotion all the time, what exactly do you picture the world looking like.

However, to use culture and history through manipulation to prove a point that ridiculous is nothing but comical, i salute you on your colourful efforts to prove how blind to the world you are.
