Day 8: Sleep
Eat healthy, sleep for 8 hours, work hard, exercise daily.
I can do 3 of these things on a regular basis.
For me, sleep is always the last priority. I can’t tell you the last time I slept for 8 hours. When work gets hard, I burn the midnight oil and still get up at 5:15 am to make time for exercise and a good breakfast (eggs, spinach, beans, water).
This past week, it backfired. I let work and life cut even deeper into my sleep schedule and averaged 5 hours per night. It sucked. My energy levels suffered and I wound up exercising less last week than I have in the past year. I don’t know a single person who manages to eat healthy, sleep for 8 hours a night, and exercise every day.
