Stephanie Meade

I am a Mass Communication master’s degree student at California State University, Northridge. My research focuses on representations of homelessness, and other under/misrepresented groups/communities in popular & news media.

I hold an undergraduate degree in Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

I have great interest in homelessness advocacy. Growing up in the San Gabriel Valley in East Los Angeles County, many of my close friends and their families experienced varying levels of poverty and homelessness. Homelessness is an issue near and dear to me.
