We started Samebug envisioning a worldwide community for developers to give and share solutions to software crashes. We work every day to make this vision happen. We are dedicated to providing you with the best experience possible by communicating with you, our users. We want to understand what you think would make our product great both now and in the future.
To make this happen, we want to focus more on developing the community with you. That is why they have hired a Developer Advocate to help in this role. It’s with great pleasure that I get to introduce myself today as the Samebug Developer Advocate.
My name is Laura Fagan, and I’ve been working getting things organised for the next couple of months with Samebug. I’m looking forward to getting to know you all over the next while.
I have a couple of years under my belt developing communities in Europe and across the globe. This gives me a lot of experience to help support and develop the Samebug community. So, when Renata talked to me about the position I knew it was an opportunity I had to go for.
During my time here there are a couple of things that I’d like to do, that I need your help.
- I’ll be creating a Slack group for the community to engage with each other and with me where we can discuss stack traces and try to help each other.
- I’ll be reaching out to the wider community using social media detailing what we’ve been up to — to keep you informed
- I’ll be reaching out to you, our users. Looking for feedback and ideas as to what will make this place great.
- I’ll be updating you with new updates on our product through this blog.
For all of this to work, I’ll need your help; I’ll need you to talk to me and tell me what you think about Samebug and what will make it great.
You can contact me by my email address laura.fagan@samebug.io
I look forward to hearing from you all soon!
