Kindness is not a word but it holds deep meaning it is a virtue, an action that can change some one’s day, life or perception also. Even a tiny act from your side can make someone’s day. Be kind and show humanity as kindness does not relate to religion, family or friends only, but it covers people that unknown to you. Our beautiful religion Islam and Our Beloved Prophet (SAW) set tremendous examples to teach us the path of kindness and humanity.
“Smile as it is a form of Sadqa”
Well this project provides me opportunity to think and show my kind side. So firstly, I planned to do 5 acts but luckily and unfortunately nothing goes according to plan. As it is said if your intentions are good and pure, good things happen automatically.
I was struck in traffic, due to some sort of test was conducted in that area. There were students around with anxious faces and all worried. Wondering around I saw a girl sitting with her father in a car. We just had an eye contact and I smiled by looking at her and show thumbs up to her, wish her luck and she laughed and nodded her head. She kept on looking at me till the end of the road and keep smiling as if she is saying Thank you. It really makes her feel good.
Secondly, I cheer up a girl at my campus, as I don’t know her. She and her mother came there for her viva from another city. Her mother was very worried and sitting in open air. I went to them, have a small chat and showed them the sitting area for girls. Great to listen them.
My junior came to me to solve her mathematics problem I was not really in the mood. Firstly, I refused her then I thought, just do it she came to me with a hope and I do it.
The most beautiful act was, when I and my friend was going home we saw street child there. She is cute. We were eating biscuits and when we saw her, she was looking at us and it melted our heart we bought a pack of biscuit and gave her. The happiness sparkle in her eyes was out of the world
Last but not the least, my way back to home I hired a rickshaw. He was an old Pathan driver and it was very hot out there. When he dropped me at my stop, a thought clicked and I offered him my water bottle (which I Just brought, chilled and it is mineral water, unused) and some candies in my bag too. Smile came to his face and he wished me a lot success and happiness in my life. Praise my parents and the feeling I felt at that time was undefinable.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small is ever wasted”
