In the Citrix structure, users coming from the Internal network directly access StoreFront.

External users are connected by Citrix Gateway.
User Layer

Internal-External users Citrix Workspace App runs on this layer.

Access Layer

The credential information of the users in StoreFront is verified.

StoreFront brings the resources assigned to the user to the user.

Citrix Gateway External verifies the permission and identity of users to access resources.

Control Layer

Delivery Controller establishes connections with resources.

The Delivery Controller performs load balancing and manages the availability of devices in the Resource Layer.

Resource Layer

Applications and Computers run on allocated virtual machines or physical machines. It offers various customization options.

Hardware Layer

This is the layer where hardware resources are provided for deployment to users.

Hardware products in this layer are scaled according to the desired performance.
