Road less traveled

Picture I took in Perth as I contemplated this poem

There is a road less traveled

Where the hurt, failures and uncertainties lie

Leaving us paralysed in fear

Afraid to move forward

But it is on this path that we realise

you have to be wrong to be right

you have to be lost to be found

you have to be hurt to understand compassion

Such is the bittersweet nature of this road

an upward falling paradox

It beckons you to embrace hardship

and experience it all

don’t dwell

But simply keep moving

to find true stillness in motion

For that is the only way I’ve found to

be brave

be bold

and be inspired

along the road less traveled.
