The power of belief is very strange, no matter how humble we think we are a small part of everyone wants to be smarter than everyone else. Whether through manipulation, taking advantage of those who can’t defend themselves, using your looks, or information. The innate desire to be right is constantly fed especially in a capitalistic society where its taught as the only means of survival. If being “right”means acceptance by mainstream society, being used as low intelligence humor, having more opportunities that may conflict with your core values, we need to rethink what is “right”.

On social media being right is usually an impulsive reaction to some psychology bias that we all have that operates in our subconscious mind..
When the average person has the attention span of a goldfish(7 seconds) who has time to be objective?
Donald trump is a perfect example of negativity bias, no matter what good he ever does nothing will change the negative perception some people have of him. Kanye west is steadily heading into this territory, the more he associates with trump. Rappers have belittled him and his family due to the meeting with trump last week. and many fans have lost their patience with his recent behavior… Is the hate for kanye warranted or are people operating from a negativity bias?
With midterm elections just a few weeks away, there is no better time to catch political smear campaigns. There is a biological reason why so much campaign money is spent on running these smear ads. Numerous studies have shown that the brain responds more to negative stimuli more than positive, thus having a more memorable effect. Scientist go on to say that were wired this way for survival and to respond to danger properly.
Because Trump has attacked the media with his “fake news” claims, the media has lost some objectivity by feeding the publics negativity bias that trump and the media both manufactured. Trumps negativity bias is so strong that anyone around him long enough will feels its ripple effect…
The majority of the responses from the viewers of trumps and Kanyes meeting should be alarming to us freethinkers…..lets break the meeting down…first is length of the footage….

Content in social media clips-Kanye saying this hat gives me superpowers, hugging the president….
You have to wonder if the liberal media is so concerned about these issues(racism,crime) then why are they mostly reporting the content in the social media clips? Maybe because views are more important than content in this day and age. Maybe because the media is aware of the psychological make up of their viewers and their lack of objectivity…
West also spoke on black america’s infatuation with materialism when he said “we rather have brands than our own land”. Ownership is practically non existent in our communities, thats not up for debate. Were in the middle of a housing crisis, and we have no black industries where we can employ people, why wasn’t this highlighted by Mainstream media?
Kanye also spoke on getting a pardon for Larry Hoover the founder of the gangster disciples gang.
Hoover is serving six life sentences in the supermax prison for murder. Hoover was highly active and influential in numerous communities in chicago. Hoover, prior to his arrests had rebranded the GDs into Growth and development and received community awards, he has been in jail since 1997…
Kanye has also met with Big U. Big U is a former crip from Los Angeles and is proof that those who lived the street life and paid their time in jail can come out and still have a positive effect in their communities.
Before we can say that it was just photo ops- we can say that we have an understanding of the agenda because it was public, we have something to hold them accountable to..Whether these plans come to fruition is entirely different but downplaying the conversation won’t help anything get done.
At one point Trump sent the feds to Chicago for a state of emergency. Stop and frisk were also discussed as solutions for crime in Chicago by the trump administration. Either of the situations would have created a more hostile environment..
With Kanye doing what many have asked him to for years which is move back to Chicago, also trying develop an industry for the poor, release Hoover who would influence the streets towards positivity, and keep children in school, why are so many people focused on his hat?
Ghandi was assassinated by his own people while Kanye is undergoing an assassination on his character.. maybe “Yandi” is an appropriate title for kanye’s next album after all..
