Hey, guys today I woke up and saw my mobile phone beside my pillow. It made me think I spent half of the day on it, but what I achieved from it. Oh, it quickly took me to my childhood age when we didn’t have cell phones. What we only had were books, we go through them all the way and use them to discuss various materials, information, etc. With our friends. We used to purchase books of our interests and later share them with other fellows. The book was the only source to get knowledge in terms of diverse fields and personalities. However, ever since mobile especially smartphones arrived in our world, it has completely changed our lifestyles and communication ways. It is such a huge phenomenon evolved over the years. One can access, unlimited insights you name it. Having said that, it has demerits too, depending on its use. I seriously think it has eliminated our privacy and extended our working hours like our day never gets finished. It also puts a sizeable financial burden on us. To me, the book was pretty much beneficial in all respects in comparison to smartphones, the less time-consuming, very knowledgeable, focusing, credible, and not expensive. Let’s have 5 comparisons of books versus mobile phone.

  1. Knowledgeability

The Book is commonly written by one person and provides you with robust information to expand your knowledge as it often includes his or her personal experiences. Most writers are very composed and focused on the topic. The best thing critics made was their valuable analysis of the book which was helpful for the readers. Whereas information spread out through mobile phones does not have such credibility and checks. People share and forward information without any authenticity which has shattered the confidence of users. Oh, here I would go for a book concerning knowledgeability.

2. Health problems

The excessive use of cell phones impacts our health badly. The more you spend time on cell phones the more you are exposed to health vulnerabilities. According to some studies, cell phone, gadgets give off dangerous radiation that may affect human health (https://www.hilarispublisher.com). On the other hand, the book doesn’t associate such risks, but reading books makes you get a night of quality sleep. So I rank a book higher over a mobile phone.

3. Financial burden

In today’s world, the mobile phone has become part & parcel of everyone. Even students need to have smartphones with them to meet their study needs. All its costs are too expensive for recharge, mobile data payments, repairing, etc. While the book is relatively cheaper and now a day’s available with considerable discounts.

4. Distraction

Multiple studies tell us cell phone causes great distraction at work. People keep in touch with their loved ones and friends at work. Furthermore, it distracts people to be collaborative and face-to-face interactions. However, the books are not required to carry on everywhere, but all need special times to read best at home.

5. Productivity

Even though books are economical against smartphones’ expenses, but we cannot refute the productivity of smartphones in the current world. Almost every business and educational entity are connected to the internet and they created respective applications. Altogether, it’s not easy to avoid the use of smartphones in present society. Smartphones offer enormous access to reach global connectivity. As aforementioned, in view, I prefer smartphones to be used wisely to meet our day-to-day needs.

Finally, guys, I am not against the use of smartphones at all but there has to be self-restricted use of this device with minimum implications I stated above. The better use of smartphones may increase your productivity and financial strength. Please share your views in the comment section
