I think the ritual of meeting regularly to review the numbers is always a good idea. However at Amzn WBR is “expensive” because leaders from across the team attend, every team speaks and followup actions often come out of it like drilling into numbers. In some cases weekly seemed too frequent, we looked at some numbers that were not important to our overall success and resulting actions weren’t high value but needed to be completed because of the high visibility. Btw this was my experience I’m guessing other teams do it differently.
