Hi Michael
Thanks for the article, I have a similar problem as I have an online learning academy that uses mostly American software to create and sell digital products, but I’m in SA.
I was invited to stripe atlas and completed an application form, but the issue was that when I wrote my “summary” and business operations, I focused on the SA market and said the company will only be focusing on SA residents.
This is was the main reason cited for the decline in the application they invited me to complete.
So, I would suggest that when people apply, they should explicitly state that their business has a global appeal.
My business also has a global appeal, but I was not aware that I should have expressly stated that and that it would end up being the main reason for my application being declined.
