Kyrie sounds a little crazy here. The team had the number one overall pick the summer they signed Lebron, Kyrie may have been the face of the team but the team was awful. Why was he so mad about no longer being the face of a 20 win team? This guys ego may make it impossible for him to win without Lebron.

As far as what Cle should do, maybe they should just call the Clippers and ask for exactly what Houston sent over for Paul. The Cavs need to get better defensively and Beverly is a great fit. I think he’s probably the best on ball defender at guard in the NBA, not Avery Bradley whose plus/minus is poor.

I would love the Knicks to be able to figure out a Melo/Kyrie deal, but I think they made the wrong selection at the draft to get it done. If they had picked Monk or Donovan Mitchell instead of Ntilikina, the deal would be easy. Melo, Monk/Mitchell, and a 2018 pick for Kyrie. I like Frank Smokes, but I don’t think his trade value is comparable to those other guys. If the Knicks called Utah and offered Frank for Mitchell straight up, they’d get laughed off the phone.
