Reflecting on Ignition

I enjoyed the online learning portion of Launch Academy’s training. The ramp up to the in person class was useful, and allowed me to work on key weaknesses I possess. I feel I am now better prepared to use the course to the fullest.

I was having trouble organizing the flow control of any programming languages. The lessons in Launch’s apollo helped me straighten out my understanding of how conditional statements work. Now, instead of having to google my way through and hack together a copy pasted program flow, I can code off the dome, and actually set up a reasonable program flow for simple terminal programs exercises. This will translate well into actually approaching the complex data structures I hear developers get to play with.

But that’s not the end. I am always learning there are better ways to organize program flow. I want to learn about Big O, which I was turned onto by the supplemental materials after finishing Ignition.
