All of what you say may be true, but the fact remains that the man did not stop, but continued walking to his vehicle and by leaning into his car caused law enforcement to think, yes think, he was going for a weapon. With the attacks on cops today, they are not going to second guess themselves. The will react. But for people to say that they shouldn’t have shot him, they should have waited to see what he was going to do, is ridiculous. There are too many people out there wanting to kill cops. In Detroit, the city is burying another one of their own, a cop who was shot and unfortunately died, will be buried this Friday. A cop who didn’t react soon enough.
