Wednesday Fail
Welp that didn’t take long. I was seven weeks firm in my commitment to Wednesday words, and I had my first fail.
This week I was in Austin working on a couple of pretty exciting projects, and our second day on the trip I got a nasty one-day stomach virus on of course a Wednesday. I didn’t realize I had forgotten about my writing task until the evening and by then it was too late. Damn.
As promised, I made a donation to 826CHI. If you don’t know about 826, it’s tuition-free programming — available year-round to students and teachers across the city. They help students realize the value of their education, the power of their individual voices, and the necessity of playfulness and creativity in writing.
