Positive Reflection on Amal Journey

Become a lifelong learner!
Learning is a part of life in which we learn something new for our exposure and experiences. Same like that, I applied for Amal and got selected.
Firstly, let me introduce myself. My name is Samoona Shabbir from Batch 185, Amal academy.
Before joining Amal, I was less confident and I was a hesitant and less focused student. My goal was not clear. My resume was not perfect. Then, I met with such amazing mentors such as Sir Ahmad and Ma’am Qurat ul ain.
First thing, I saw a big change in myself is my confidence. I am able to share my opinion, my suggestion, and my answer with anyone confidently. If you have confidence, you can face any circumstances. I realized Amal is the platform where you can share everything without any hesitation.
My Amal family is the biggest support to Boost up my confidence by giving constructive feedback and by appreciating me.

Second thing I want to share is “less-focused, not goal oriented”. I was very depressed because I didn’t know what to do. “How to do” factor comes after “what to do”. When you don’t know what you are going to do, you can not reach success. To achieve something, you have to be focused, you have to specify your goals, your smart goals. Yes, Amal provides me a safe side where you can identify your goals, your mentors help you by arranging one-on-one sessions. I would like to thank again to my mentors who helped me to polished my smart goals. Now, I know what I am doing, and what I will do in future.

Thirdly, I learned from Amal how to show your etiquettes in a professional way. How to set your resume/ CV in a professional way. How to appear in an interview as a professional candidate. Thank you, Amal, for conducting Mock Interviews.
At the end, I want to show the outcome which I learned from Amal. You can see the following picture. I arranged a webinar for our mega project with my circle of fellows. My teamwork, leadership, and communication skills are clearly utilized in arranging sessions. The main thing is, Alhamdulillah I was confident.
Thank you, Amal family, for giving me a chance to boost up my skills, my hidden talent and to specify what I want to do in life. The three months long journey was such an incredible journey with a lot of beautiful memories.
