Awesome write-up, Kory. Thanks for taking the time. And more than that, thanks for all the work you and Aaron have put into NeuBible. It’s such a great app and it is genuinely a delight to use. Hoping you find the right way forward to keep it sustainable as a business. I realise there’s no doubt a lot of work involved, but would adding more translations open doors to more IAP’s? I for one would be very quick to buy the Message translation, a UK version of NIV, and the NLT. I’m sure it’s not straightforward, but thought I would pass that on at least.
I think you made a good choice about syncing by the way. It probably won’t be right for everyone, but your thinking makes at lot of sense. And I really appreciate how much thought you have put into all of these decisions. It shows.
That said, I am among those who would love the split view option. It isn’t something I would use all the time—and I understand that the app is all about a focussed, simple, beautifully designed reading experience—but there are times when I’d love to be able to use my favourite Bible app alongside the notes app. I understand the reasoning why you wouldn’t, but still would love it as an option some day.
Anyway, thanks again for all the hard work. You’ve done an amazing job. It was a great app already, but now that it’s for iPad too, it takes it to a whole other level. Cheers.
