How full is your glass?

First a little background story:

The day was 20th of August, 2017. I was just discussing with a friend of mine Ashish Katuwal, about whether or not he will attend the Venture talk that afternoon. He responded with a link to an event called Readers Circle which was on the same day. He invited me there 2 hours prior to the event and even I did not know what that event was about I joined.

Talking about Readers Circle, (I learn’t this after the event) it is an event where 10 participants are involved and provided with topics and asked to provide their opinion on that topic. The topic may be anything a question, book, painting’s, etc. The same topic was provided to multiple people, which in the end returned multiple answers for that same question from different perspectives. It was really a great event as I was able to answer the question from my perspective and then get the same question answered through different perspectives.

“How full is your glass?” was one of the questions that I got. Even though I got to hear different and far better answers to this question, Here is my answer that I answered that day:

How full is your glass?

When I first heard this question, I thought of my life being the glass and the water being my level of satisfaction or the things that I have achieved.

And talking on that perspective, I don’t think my glass will ever be full. But what I can do is always be optimistic and see the beauty of the filled portion and be happy about it rather that be sad about the empty part.

Talking about my life or my glass, I’ve found that the more I fill the glass the more the glass gets bigger and more empty spaces appear. But I think that is just what life is: “The more you know, the more you realize you don’t know”

Thank you so much for reading!!!
Bye :)
