Remember
An Easter Poem
--
As you bear witness
to the first light of the day,
As the sun kisses the earth,
Remember,
Each day is a blessing,
A gift to be cherished,
It is good news.
On this Easter morning,
With a heart of gratitude,
Remember,
Jesus has paid
the ultimate price for our sins,
by washing them away
with His blood.
Forgiveness is for all,
Remember,
It matters not to God,
the depth of our transgressions,
or the weight of our sins,
Our salvation lies solely
with the cross.
Remember,
Easter is more than just
chocolate bunnies
and painted eggs,
So start each day
by greeting the Holy Spirit
a very good morning.
