Hi Francine!

@ 18:45 “A staggering amount of data”… shows “consistent differences in the kinds of things that appeal to men and women in their ideal job.” In ”the desire to work with people versus things there is an enormous difference between men and women, and indeed this will tend to cause people to gravitate in different directions.” One of the occupations most strongly preferred by people who prefer to work with things is… [that’s right] … “computer programmer.”

Yet somehow at Google immediate termination is required when an employee asserts that it is not gender discrimination but rather naturally occurring differing interests between men and women that’s responsible for the overrepresentation of men in computer programing. I guess it’s a thought crime. Shall we be hunting witches next? Maybe burning the blasphemers who say the Earth is round?

By the way Francine, bigotry is defined as intolerance toward those who hold different opinions from oneself. Google it!
