How To Lead | Theodore Roosevelt: Conquering Life

When we think about what makes a great leader, there are many great examples and models to follow. But there’s none quite like the one set by Theodore Roosevelt. He lived an extraordinary and prolific life. By looking at the life he led we can learn how he conquered many of his internal struggles by using sheer will to make himself rather than succumbing to his predispositions set at birth.

By diving into his life, We’ll learn that great leadership starts when you build character and various skills needed in order to first address your own internal struggles before you can exhibit leadership in any setting. As a result, you can lead others in creating solutions to problems in whatever form they may be.

Theodore Roosevelt’s journey towards leadership starts at the beginning of his extraordinary life.

He was born into a prominent and wealthy family but spent his early years suffering from a number of health problems. The main problem being asthma, he spent much of his childhood at home. His father cared for him throughout his childhood devoting much of his time helping TR with his physical struggles.
