The other side of Sinaloa

From people that know or have heard something about Sinaloa, immediately they can think about beautiful girls, money, and sell drugs as: Amado Carrillo, Joaquin Guzman, Ismael Zambada and others, but Sinaloa is more than that, is one of the most younger state from Mexico, It is located northwest of the country, in the Gulf of California. Its northern border state of Sonora, on the east by the states of Chihuahua and Durango.

I spend eighteen years of my life there, now I am living in a big city where you can find everything, and if you can find something here, somebody can bring it to you, but never is going to be the same.

Magic towns (pueblos mágicos)

Magic towns are the old village with a old story, they were founded by the Spanish conquers, and until today people that live in these magic town can not make any change in its architecture or anything.

Food

One of the most important things you have to know about somebody or some country is their food, it describe and tell you what are their preferences. Although fish and shellfish are an important part of the gastronomic specialties of Sinaloa, a dish that has excelled in and out of the state it is certainly the ‘chilorio’.

Sinaloa has thousands of beaches where you can do many things like surf to sport fishing one of the most important beaches of Sinaloa at national and international level is Mazatlan, although not the only beach there are others like: Altata, Isla cortes, Tetuan, Dautillos and others.

When you think or hear something about Sinaloa, you have to have in maid that is much more that just NARCOS, is about a state with traditions, culture, good food, and lovely people, where you can have an unforgettable experience, and then you can know a little more about Mexico’s history.
