The Ark Community Fund

You might have heard already about the Ark Community Fund. If not, please check our website as well: https://arkcommunityfund.com/. The Ark Community Fund or ACF is an entirely community owned and operated vehicle for matching developers and entrepreneurs with potential seed funding through the use of the ARK Ecosystem. Potential projects will be able to submit applications to the team running the ACF to be considered for funding.

Bounty Opportunity

Currently the ARK Community Fund (ACF) is looking for a PHP developer that would be interested in developing and integrating Sodium (http://php.net/manual/en/book.sodium.php) into the ARK PHP-Client (https://github.com/faustbrian/ARK-PHP-Client) to sign transactions. Instead of Sodium we would also accept https://github.com/Bit-Wasp/bitcoin-php to get rid of the ark-js dependency.

Currently the PHP client is using ARK-JS to sign transactions, but with PHP 7.2 a new cryptography library, Sodium or Bit-Wasp, is available that could replace the current implementation.

Payment and questions?

If you are interested in this small task please get in contact with @faustbrian, @sleepdeficit, @goldenpepe, @reconnico or @yokoama on ARK’s Slack (https://ark.io/slack) to talk about further details. Payment would be around 3000 USD. There is room for negotiation depending on your experience and quality of work. The amount would be paid out in Ark upon delivery and is of course conditional depending on the quality of work which is evaluated by the ACF board.
