New Ark Community Fund Website
The Ark Community Fund has launched a new website which will make several processes a lot easier. The hope is to boost support and working coming from the community even more. Submit your proposals and check out the bounties that are live right now!
A quick reminder
You might have heard already about the Ark Community Fund. If not, please check our new website: https://www.arkcommunity.fund. The Ark Community Fund or ACF is an entirely community owned and operated vehicle for matching developers and entrepreneurs with potential seed funding through the use of the ARK Ecosystem. Potential projects will be able to submit applications to the team running the ACF to be considered for funding. Additionally ACF will put bounties on the website to which community members can apply.
What’s new?
Submitting a proposal
It has become a lot easier to submit a proposal to ACF. Where we used to dabble with Google docs we now have the submission process integrated into the website.
Choose the type of proposal you want to hand in, a development oriented one or more marketing related (as well as an other group in case it does not fit the two main categories). A nice touch is that you can see what proposals have been or are in the pipeline right now.
Once you have selected a proposal orientation, we will ask you to fill in a set of questions. 1. A brief summary 2. some prerequisites that might be necessary 3. milestones for the project and 3. any additional information that is required. Of course not every question is applicable to every project, we try to provide a simple approach that will fit many projects.
Once you have provided all necessary information, the proposal will automatically go to the Ark Community Fund board for review. You can always check the status of proposals on the site (under review, in progress, completed, rejected).
Bounties
Besides making a proposal on your own, ACF will also be posting bounties to which you can respond. Also create a proposal for this, clearly referencing the bounty and the ACF board will evaluate and select the best proposal to execute upon the bounty.
The Design
And last but not least you might have noticed that the design of the website has changed. We’d like to thank Oleg (olejegcord on Ark slack) for the great work he has done on designing this website as well as Brian (arkx on Ark slack) who has coded up the site. We look forward to receiving many proposals!
